Biography:

<sub>Tsukiyo's only family are her parents. Her father is a world-renowned travel journalist who was often missing from birthdays and important family events as he did his job travelling the world. Her mother tended the house while waiting for her husband to return home. Her mother was always smiling, but she never understood why. "Sometimes, you have to think of the happier moments in life, Tsukiyo," her Mom explained. Tsukiyo was 7 when her mother had a heart attack and passed away as she was being rolled into the ER. Her father was forced to come home and find someone who could take care of Tsukiyo while he worked to make ends meet(which still meant constantly leaving her). He looked to his aunt for help.

In Grade school, Tsukiyo would often be sent to the principal's office because she always got into fights with the other children at her school. The first time she attacked a student was when she was called weird because she had a habit of smiling to herself(a habit she had picked up from her mother) and that she always sat alone staring out blankly. "I think she's weird because her Mom never taught her," one kid said. She lashed out and kicked him square in the back. After that first attack, other students did their best to avoid her and only talked about her behind her back, though she sometimes caught wind of it. She didn't last 2 years in that school before her father decided to pull her out so she could be home schooled instead, which she preferred.

Being home schooled, she seldom ever got the chance to interact with anybody. Her aunt who was her guardian thought it was a good idea to get her out of the house to go stargazing in the field within the neighborhood where she knew other people liked gathering to idle the night away. There, Tsukiyo found herself under the beautiful night sky with people who only smiled and never said anything bad about her. She was content just staring up at the sky as the people around her whispered quietly to each other. Sometimes, there were other kids that played in the field as the others gazed at the stars. Every night, she would head to the field, sometimes with her aunt, sometimes without. The people who marveled at the beauty of the stars never stayed very long. In the afternoons, she would dedicate her time to studying, doing chores, writing, anything that would make the time pass faster. As soon as night fell though, she would quickly head over to the field. This was her routine until she was 16.

When her father returned from one of his longer trips, he broached the topic with Tsukiyo about returning to a regular school so that she can be with other people of her age more often. She refused immediately. Though he tried persuading her, she never accepted the proposal. That is, until her father suggested Hoshizora High.</sub>
