Hello everyone!
if there is indeed anyone who reads this

I haven't been posting anything on here in a while.
I full heartedly blame my laziness new college life.
Not that I'm complaining because I'm actually enjoying college life as it is!(It's only been a couple of weeks but wtv:P)

I didn't even think of updating this journal to wish everyone a Happy New Year...
I'm a horrible person... soooo... Happy Belated New Year!:XD:
I'm gonna go hang myself now... BUT not before I do this one important thing!

I have someone to feature:D
It's for a little something  that :icondawishingwell: is doing. It's called Sunday Well Wishes(not Sunday anymore... I know.) and it's a kind of event that encourages us to intermingle and communicate with others in the DA community.

Anyway, let's cut down to the chase. I was paired with :iconsmolderingremains: this week and since he was kind enough to feature me in his journal, I thought I would pay him in kind:huggle:

*smolderingremains is a webcomic author and he's been on DA for quite a while now. I mean, his gallery's full of so many drawings and comics I didn't know where to start!
I suggest you raid his gallery when you can. You're gonna want to once you see the comics I've featured below.
They're freaking hilarious, I swear!

Here are a few out of the many that I enjoyed viewing.
If you're a Twihard, I suggest you skip the first one.:lmao:










He even did a tutorial on facial expressions that got a Daily Deviation. The tutorial is absolutely useful to beginners like me(thanks for the little lesson Mr Samuel!)(:

Also, before I forget... go draw some Swashbuckling Narwhals for him!

Hello everyone!
First of all, thank you very much for dropping by my profile(: :hug:
Now, if you're reading this, you probably wanna know more about me... probably?
Anyway, my name's Tisha, I'm a 17 year old girl and still fairly new to the online art community.
I enjoy drawing and writing but I still have a lot to improve on.
I feel more comfortable writing than drawing really but I still find great fun in both.

I doodled(doodling, not sketching, not colouring) a lot when I was a little kid but for some reason I stopped drawing when I hit my teensI'm still a teen but what the heck.
I just recently rediscovered my love for art and hopefully it won't get lost this time.
I'm self taught so my art won't be on par with most of the talented people on here so please bear with me until I improve!
I only started digital art when my parents got me a graphic tablet(it came as a surpirse) at the end of August this year, so I'm trying my best to learn what I can!

I write and draw for fun because that is what art is to me;
A form of escapism.
It's something I do, just because I can(:

Hi!
I've opened a donation pool for 1500 :points: and I have collected 567:points: so far. Every donator got a chance to win 300 / 150 / 50 :points: as soon as the donation pool was full AND a thank you (Llama, comments, watch, etc.). The rest of the donations would have gone to the group #helpAfghanistan to help in their projects.

Too bad, I had to cancel this because they still counted it as a lottery. So I provide you to give you your points back, if you want. If it's okay for you to not demand the points back, I will just send those points to the groups donation pool to help Afghanistan (I will send a screenshot of the donation in a journal, to prove it). You could also just take a part of your donation back. Do as you wish :)
